I CAN SEE THE SUNRISE
17 MAY - 21 JUNE 2025
In a time marked by deep uncertainty—politically, economically, and socially — I Can See the Sunrise offers a counterpoint: a visual anthem of resilience, renewal, and radical hope. This exhibition unfolds in seven poetic suites, marked by seven artists, each a gesture toward light—reminding us that even the darkest hours give way to morning.
These works are not blind to the turmoil of our time: fractured institutions, rising inequity, and a world grappling with questions of justice, freedom, and truth. Yet
rather than yielding to despair, the artists respond with vision. They remind us that movement is possible, that the arc of history is not fixed but shaped by those willing to dream, to resist, and to build.
Each suite is a meditation—on healing, on unity, on perseverance. Together, they form a collective prayer for transformation. Through color, texture, form, and
story, they declare: we are still here. We are still rising.
This is a sunrise you can see, feel, and walk toward.
Let it remind us that even now, amidst the noise and chaos, something beautiful is being born.
A new day is not only possible—we are willing it into being.
This exhibition marks Part I of a two-part series centered around this theme. Part II will be presented by Context Projects and curated by Khalil Kinsey.
